Anne Perry is the bestselling author of two acclaimed series set in Victorian England: the William Monk novels, including Blind Justice (2013) and A Sunless Sea (2012), and the Charlotte and Thomas Pitt novels, including Death on Blackheath (2014) and Midnight at Marble Arch (2013). She is also the author of a series of five World War I novels, as well as eleven holiday novels, most recently A New York Christmas (2014), and a historical novel, The Sheen on the Silk (2010), set in the Ottoman Empire. Anne Perry lives in Scotland and Los Angeles.

Born and raised on the east coast, author Suzanne Redfearn moved to California when she was fifteen. Her debut novel, Hush Little Baby (2013), has received rave reviews. Emily St. John Mandel was born and raised on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada. Her most recent novel, Station Eleven, was a 2014 National Book Award Finalist. She is also the author of three previous novels: Last Night in Montreal (2009), The Singer’s Gun (2010), and The Lola Quartet (2012). All four of her novels were Indie Next Picks, and The Singer's Gun was the 2014 winner of the Prix Mystère de la Critique in France.
