Aaron Belz is the founder and former curator of Observable Readings in St. Louis (observable.org) and has given readings of his poetry all over the country as well as in numerous stand-up comedy venues in the Los Angeles area. His work has appeared in Boston Review, Fence, Painted Bride Quarterly, Black Clock, and other places, and his first full-length book, The Bird Hoverer, was published by BlazeVOX in 2007. His second, Lovely, Raspberry, will be published by Persea Books in April, 2010.
